I feel like I'm repeating myself but we have been so busy lately. We spent a week on vacation in Florida and got home just in time for Easter. While we were in Florida I got to do all kinds of new things. I met some members of the family on the Davis side, which was pretty cool. I went to my first hockey game and saw the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. the Tampa Lightning. Of course, our team (the Penguins) won 6 to 4. I really liked the Zamboni and the jumbo-tron.
We also went to the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa to see animals. My favorites were the rhinos, the giraffes and the penguins. The next day we went to the Mote Aquarium. Boy was that neat. I saw fish in every color. Mommy held me up to the glass and I put my hands up against it while sharks and fish and manatees swam by. We even saw a dolphin show where they did tricks. The aquarium might have been my favorite part of the trip.
Then we went to the Sarasota Car Museum and I tried to get my keys to start some of the cars. But it didn't work and I was bummed. I was really hoping for a big souvenir. Later in the day we went to the beach. Mommy and Daddy were excited about that part but I didn't like it much. They put my toes in the sand and the water, which they thought was cute and I thought was yucky. So, we went home to Seth & Karen & Taylor's house and got in the swimming pool. That was more fun but I still didn't do much splashing.
We flew home late Saturday night. Mommy said I am a champ because I was a great flyer. I thought it was pretty easy `cause all you have to do is sit in a seat and play. And when you get tired of playing you can just fall asleep. I slept a lot during the plane trip. Especially on the way home.
And Easter was Sunday so I had another big day. I got to see all my grandparents.
