My 16 month pictures

February fun...

In February we spent a lot of time playing indoors. We read a lot of books and I played with my cars a whole bunch. There is a picture of me playing with my remote control cars below. We celebrated Valentine's day with lots of cards and hugs and kisses. And I turned 16 months old so I had some new pictures taken. Mommy says I'm always on the move and this was when I really got going good. Here are some pictures of me playing at the mall playland and hanging out in one of my favorite spots (in front of the window.)

January fun... and secrets (shhhh!)

In January we celebrated Grandma Cristofaro's birthday. We did a lot of reading and other low key activities in the house. And Mommy and Daddy told me a big secret. But I wasn't aloud to tell anybody for a long time. But I'll give you a hint...look at the last picture and see if you can guess.

New Years Day

On New Years' Day went took a trip to Columbus to watch the Buckeyes play and celebrate Justin's birthday. We got to see a bunch of our friends (including some friends from out of town.) Here are some pictures from the party.

Thanksgiving and Christmas...

The holiday season always seems to rush right by us. We had a great Thanksgiving (one with each side of the family) and ate all day long. I can't seem to find any of my pictures from then so I'll have to wait to put those up.

When December rolled around Mommy and Daddy and I tried to go do as many cool holiday things as we could. Of course we put up a tree and decorated it. We went on a horse drawn carriage ride, went to see Christmas light shows and even went to the Cincinnati Zoo for the Festival of Lights. I got to see Santa a couple of times and we even took Brutus to see Santa one day. At the zoo I saw Santa's reindeer and we sang to them. We made Christmas cookies and I got to help cut out all the shapes. We sure packed a lot of excitement into December. Then, the big day(s) arrived and we went to see some family. We opened presents and stockings and ate together and played. It was a lot of fun for me. The next few posts are some pictures of our December festivities. Enjoy!

Here are some pictures of me playing. As you can probably tell, I tend to play with my cars and trucks a lot. Anything with wheels keeps me interested.

October 2009 events

October is a busy month for us. Aside from Halloween and my birthday we also have Brutus' big Pet Therapy event to attend every year. It's called the Annual Howl-O-Ween Walk and always has lots of people & their dogs wearing costumes to raise money for MVPTA. In 2009 I went as a giraffe, Brutus was a lion, Mommy was the zookeeper and Daddy was Clark Kent/Superman. (Even without the costume Daddy is my hero.) Mommy, Brutus and I entered the Best Team Costume contest and won a prize. Grandma & Paps (Mommy's parents) went to the Howl Walk with us and we all had lunch together there. Afterwards, Mommy, Daddy, Brutus and I stopped by Grandma Cristofaro's house to say hi.

Some more catching up...

Here are some more photos to catch you up since we spent so long away from the keyboard. These are from beggars night 2009. I went to Grandma and Grandpa Cristofaro's house to visit them. Mommy and Daddy took me over there in regular clothes and when we went to change my diaper I put on my penguin costume. Then we snuck out the back door while Grandpa wasn't looking and ran around the house to ring the front doorbell. At first Grandpa didn't realize who we were and he started to give me some candy. But then he started laughing and let us back in the house. It was a lot of fun to sneak up on Grandpa like that. Mommy and Daddy got it on video so we'll always remember my first beggars night. :)

WAAAAAY behind....

So, Mommy and I have been a bit behind on our blogging lately. By lately I mean, in 2010. We've been pretty busy with the every day of things. Mommy says I'm growing like a weed and I'm learning new stuff all the time. If it's been a while since you've seen me you'll be amazed at what I can do and say now. Daddy's really good about reading to me and teaching me new words so I'll try to get some video of that up soon. In the meantime, I thought we'd take a little trip down memory lane and look at some pictures from this year. I'll try to keep you filled in on all the big news as we go along.
